MSR is the original ship. The word ship comes from relationshippers, or shippers, who were the fans who wanted Mulder and Scully to be in a relationship.
The creator of The X-Files, Chris Carter, wanted their bond to be strictly platonic, but eventually their relationship became canon. This shrine is dedicated to them.
